How long does it take to get a Pakistan visa?
Officially, it takes up to 15 days to receive your visa. It is highly recommended not to apply during the weekends! In my case, it took 4 days to receive updates.
What documents do you need to apply for a Pakistan visa?
- LOI Letter of Invitation
- CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) of your tour guide
- DTS License (Tour guide license)
- Photograph
Make sure to upload all your documents in JPG format!
What do you not need to apply for a Pakistan visa?
Flight tickets are not required, but you need to provide the estimated dates of your travel and the length of your stay!
What did I do wrong?
I’m a normal person with an ORDINARY PASSPORT, not an OFFICIAL one. This was the mistake I made! Luckily, all the information was saved on the page. When I received the notification that my visa was rejected, the reason was stated clearly. I needed to wait 7 days and reapply.
I was running out of time.
I literally got it 6 days before my trip!
I got my visa, what’s next?
Print it and BRING IT WITH YOU! Airlines will ask for it at the desk, you will need to show it at customs once you arrive in Pakistan, some hotels will ask for it, and you might need to show it on the road. If you are traveling with a tour agency, they will have copies to make your travel experience easier. However, it’s always a good idea to bring an extra copy with you at all times!
